Future Plans

One of organisations key missions is to act upon the Sikh principle of ‘Sarbat da Bhala’ which seeks good for everyone. So the organization will act to the best of its ability to provide help when there is a need starting from the local community. This may include free food and medicine for the needy or help for the elderly for computer literacy.

We also plan on providing Gurmat classes where kids can learn about the Punjabi language and Sikh values. The organization will act to provide services to the culturally diverse minority namely the local Sikh community. The services could also include Kirtan (religious singing) classes.

Language and Gurmat Class

Gurmat classes are planned to be organized every Sunday. Students can learn about the Punjabi language, Gurbani Keertan, and Gurmat. Our volunteers are committed to helping students achieve their learning goals. The aim of the school is to produce Raagis, Dhadis, and other evaders from the community to then serve the community.

Kids will be taught the Punjabi language in creative and engaging ways. They will also be taught about Sikh history and mannerisms about how to behave in Gurdwara Sahib especially in the presence of Guru Sahib with the hope that they will then take these lessons home and apply them to other aspects of life. This not only helps them grow but also helps them develop a character that is unique to an ideal Sikh.
